Directions from the North
Follow the M6 leaving at the turn off for Knutsford and Macclesfield.
In Macclesfield follow signs for Buxton. In Buxton follow signs for A6 towards Bakewell. Approx 2 miles from Buxton turn left at the sign to Tidewell. Go along bendy road alongside Tidewell Dale, this road will take you into the village, drive straight along, just before the road bends right you will see Exchange Cottage on the left next to The Roost Café.
Directions from Manchester
Take the M60, follow signs to Sheffield and then the A6. Follow signs to Buxton and then turn off on the A623 to Sparrowpit, following the road until you see the signs for Tideswell. Turn right and drive into Tideswell passing the church on your right. Follow the road, making a zig zag at the book shop and continue onto Queen Street. You will see the cottage on your right, next door to The Roost Café.
Directions from the South
Leave M1 at junction 29, take A617 to Chesterfield, then A619 to Baslow, then A623 towards Chapel en le Frith following this road until you see signs for Tideswell. Turn off the A623 drive into Tideswell passing the church on your right. Follow the road, making a zig zag at the book shop and continue onto Queen Street. You will see the cottage on your right, next door to The Roost Café.
