Exchange Cottage offers holiday accommodation for two to four people in a comfortable, well appointed, two bedroomed, terraced cottage in the picturesque village of Tideswell in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District.
Tideswell is ideal for sightseeing, walking, family activities or just chilling out
You can explore the Peak District on foot, by car or by bus. Tideswell has good public transport links.
Exchange Cottage is ideally situated for exploring local history, stately homes and gardens (Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Halls) and the Blue John Cavern at Castleton, as well as giving you the chance to enjoy outside activities (walking, hiking, climbing, cycling) in the beautiful Peak District.
Exchange Cottage has been lovingly restored and is a comfortable base to explore the local area all year round.
One young visitor (aged 7) commented: "I loved staying at Exchange Cottage. Can I please buy it?"
A recent visitor said: "My sister and I returned from Tideswell on Friday having had a wonderfully relaxing week in your lovely cottage. It was like staying at a friend's house and we wanted for nothing, the Cottage was so well equipped and comfortable. The Wakes Week Parade going past the front door was an added bonus. Thank you for providing the little comforts which made our holiday so special." (SB, July 2015)

"We are now safely home and thank you again for allowing us to stay the two extra days. We still did not want to leave Exchange Cottage, but had run out of excuses. It has been a wonderful week spent exploring the Dales, dining on fine local food and sampling the delights of Tideswell (including Tideswell Cinema). The cottage met our requirements perfectly and we are already planning a return visit."
